I think it could be a good idea, to have someone sift through your personal tweets and try to keep you out of trouble, but at the same time, who wants mom on your case even online and telling you to get help when you’re just simply emotional? I don’t think people will take to this kind of thing very well especially when it would be invading their privacy about their feelings. Definitely a smart thing for researchers to use; if you have their permission to do so, but like I said I’m sure no one wants to have their every tweet/thought recorded to tell them they seem depressed and need help.
