For those of you who do not know what Net Neutrality is, basically the FCC says no one (internet & cable providers) may discriminate anyone or charge anyone for better quality or for access to certain things online if they pay more or less. Which I think for everyone’s sake (especially because I’m only “Middle-Class”) that it’s fair. Rifkin talks about how in the future we may be able to use our own energy for cars, heat, applicanes at a low-cost and nearly free. Capitalism has definitely changed over time and many people are debating on whether or not Net Neutrality will be changing with the times as well, if in fact it does it will look a lot different and the line drawn between Middle Class and the extremely wealthy will in fact be more than obvious and cause more than just a few more problems.
